James Elliott Fagan

James Elliott Fagan, age 87, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Eagleville. Mr. Fagan was born in Marshall County and was a son of the late Owen Elliott and Mamie Lou Dean Fagan. He was a decorated World War II veteran serving in the United States Army during the European Campaign. Mr. Fagan was a former manufacturing methods engineer for Litton Industries in Maryland. After moving back to Tennessee, he followed his passion as a cattle and tobacco farmer. Mr. Fagan was a member of the Eagleville Lions Club and was the former song leader at Eagleville Church of Christ, where he was a member. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Fagan, and a sister, Dorothy Dean Cunningham.
Mr. Fagan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma Jean Fagan, Eagleville; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Larry Witte, Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Laura (Jerry) Buchanan, Franklin, Lisa (Gerard) Masse, Lexington, KY; four great grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Jason and Gavin.
