Ruby Jean Harris

Ruby Jean Harris, age 71, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Miss Harris was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Bryant Reed and Nannie Martha Haskins Harris. She was a graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill and a very active member of Clay Hill United Methodist Church. Miss Harris retired from Henry Horton State Park when she worked both in the park restaurant and the golf course snack bar. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lee Harris.

Miss Harris is survived by sisters, Martha Skinner, Betty Harris and Elaine Swan, all of Unionville, TN; a brother, Reed Harris, Unionville, TN; nieces, Erika Swan, Unionville, TN, Cassie Hill, Shelbyville, TN and Ginger Burrow, Cornersville, TN; nephew, Bryant Galbreath, Unionville, TN.
