Steven Roy Snell, age 58, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Auburntown, Tennessee following a lengthy illness. Mr. Snell was born in Denver, Colorado and was a truck driver. He served in the United States Air Force during the Desert Storm campaign. Steven was a true man of God, a fabulous husband and a wonderful son and father. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Henry Snell.
Mr. Snell is survived by his wife, Christy Proffitt Snell, Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Jennifer “Jen” Collins, Alaska, Amanda Gantz, Idaho, Nicky Page, Idaho, Tasha Snell, Washington State, Elaura Proffitt, Chapel Hill, TN, Livie Smith, Chapel Hill, TN; mother, Norma Snell; sister, Shirley Carter; brother, Wayne Snell, all of Illinois; four grandchildren.
There will be no visitation of memorial services at this time.

Taylor Brewer, age 16 resident of Triune, TN, a sophomore at Page High School, left us unexpectedly on February 11, 2012. He lived life to the fullest bringing smiles to everyone he met or knew. Taylor was an avid hunter, rode dirt bikes, and was a player on the upcoming 2012 Page High School baseball team. His real passions were his friends and Ashley Smith. Christine V. Eady, age 83, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday morning, February 11, 2012 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Mrs. Eady was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Malcolm Patterson and Bessie Viola Hardison Harris. She was a homemaker and was a former employee of Genesco Corp. of Chapel Hill. Mrs. Eady was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Garrett Eady and by a grandson, Matt Eady.
Mrs. Eady is survived by a son, Don (Pat) Eady, Lewisburg, TN; two daughters, Linda Cochran, Scotts Hill, TN, Diana Eady, Lewisburg, TN; sister, Hazel Tyree, Lewisburg, TN; eight grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Stan Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.

Mary Louise Haynes Blackwell, age 86, of the Holts Corner community, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 10, 2012. Services will be conducted on Mon., Feb. 13, 2012 at 1PM from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN with Rev. William “Bill” Taylor and Rev. Jack Gilbert officiating. Visitation will be Sun., Feb. 12, 2012 from 2PM – 6PM. Mary Louise was the daughter of the late George and Annie Cole Haynes. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Bob Blackwell, and an infant daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Haynes Blackwell of Holts Corner. Her role as loving mother and wife were always at the center of her ife.
She was a member of the class of 1943 at Forrest High School and a graduate of George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville. Louise compassionately taught underprivileged children at Fehr Elementary School in north Nashville. She will always be remembered for her kindness and loving devotion to family and friends. Finally restored to the fullness of new life, she showed amazing grace, courage and unconditional love during her illness.
Active Pallbearers will be Josh Curtis, Blaine Gerwick, Jacob Gerweck, Edward “Buzz” Rowland, Andrew Kieffer and John Skelton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicolas Jarrell, Will Gerweck, Chris Johns, Embree Blackwell,Jr., Charles Blackwell, Jimmy Barnes, Greg Harris, Kelly Lunn and Bobby Stammer.
Burial will be in the Joyce-Blackwell-Cromer Cemetery on Blackwell Road in Marshall Co. The family would be honored by memorials made to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc. at www.apdaparkinson.org or to the Eagleville United Methodist Church.

Betty Sue Agle-Norton, age 53, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wed., Feb. 8, 2012. A native of Flint, MI, Mrs. Agle-Norton was a daughter of Arnold Agle and the late Pearl Agle. She was a retired assembly worker with General Motors.

Sarah Elizabeth Phifer Hill, age 87, of the Farmington community of Marshall County, died Sunday, January 29, 2012. A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Hill was a daughter of the late Joseph Columbus Phifer and Sadie Emma Williams Phifer. She was a homemaker and member of the Farmington Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Louis Hill who died in 2007, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Survived by a daughter, Linda Vincion of Chapel Hill; a son, Alton (Martha) Hill of Fort Gaines, GA; a sister, Norene Ellison of FL; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
