Mrs. Louise Bennett Scott, age 91, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mrs. Scott was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Stephen Elmore “Shack” and Tobitha White Bennett. She was a homemaker, and for several years, was employed with White Stag Manufacturing as a garment inspector. Later, she worked for Riches, Inc. of Murfreesboro as a quality control inspector. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Eagleville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman D. “Mutt” Scott and a son Jimmy “Shack” Scott. Mrs. Scott is survived by daughters, Ellie L. (James R.) Wilkinson, Eagleville, TN, Norma Johnsey, Jackson, TN; grandchildren, James Ricky (Angie) Wilkinson, Chris Moore, Tracey (Phillip) Rogers, Andy (Sheri) Moore, Jonah (Jessica) Moore; five great grandchildren and nieces, Mary Ellen Loyd and Bithie Sue King. Family members will receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Lawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery, Eagleville, TN.
