RFD-TV HONORS ROY ROGERS, “KING OF THE COWBOYS,” WITH A HAPPY TRAILS TOUR

 RFD-TV broadcasting live from NCBA and offering a production studio tour to NCBA attendees

NASHVILLE, TENN – (January 24, 2012) – RFD-TV brings the Trigger and Bullet Happy Trails Tour to Tenn. as part of a 48-state tour honoring Roy Rogers the “King of the Cowboys”.   Trigger “The Golden Palomino” and Bullet “The Wonder Dog” were Roy’s faithful companions and were two of America’s most beloved television and movie star animals.  Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA trade show attendees are invited to view the duo February 1-3, 2012, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.

The RFD-TV Trigger and Bullet Happy Trails Tour began in July of 2010, after RFD-TV purchased Roy Rogers’ preserved horse, Trigger, and his German Shepherd dog, Bullet, in an auction at Christie’s. The company began touring the pair in honor of our country’s proud western heritage and as a commemoration to what would have been Roy Rogers’ 100th birthday.  The tour began in Omaha, Neb. where RFD-TV is headquartered.  Most recently, Trigger and Bullet, were seen at the Tournament of Roses® Parade on January 2, 2012, where RFD-TV honored the “King of the Cowboys” 100thwith a float in the parade entitled “Happy Trails”.  The float was preceded by 100 golden Palominos and their riders.

NCBA Trigger and Bullet Photo Opportunity
NCBA attendees will have the opportunity to view Roy Rogers’s faithful companions and have a free picture taken with Trigger and Bullet at RFD-TV’s NCBA trade show booth #857, Wednesday, February 1 between 5pm to 10pm; Thursday, February 2, 10am to 5pm; or Friday, February 3, 10am to 5pm.

Tour the RFD-TV Production Studios
RFD-TV is offering NCBA attendees a tour of its Nashville, Tenn. production studios.  The bus tour gives NCBA members and guests a chance to see how programs such as Country's Family Reunion, Larry's Country Diner, Ronnie Reno's Old Time Music Festival and The Marty Stuart Show are produced.  The RFD-TV tour bus will transport guests to the RFD-TV studio located at NorthStar Studios in Nashville for a 30 minute tour and bring them back to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.  Those participating should meet in the Magnolia lobby of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel on Feb. 2 or Feb. 3 at either 10:00am or 2:00pm for departure.
