Eagleville City Hires New Police Chief

On Thursday, January 26, 2011, a vote passed at the council meeting to hire Eli Stuard as the new Eagleville City Police Chief.  Stuard’s starting salary will be $30,000.

Stuard has law enforcement experience from his positions with Cornersville Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, and the Huntsville Police Department in Alabama.

He and his wife have five children. Presently living in Lewisburg, Stuard and his family has plans to move to Eagleville in the near future.
