Eagleville Christmas Parade - A Hands Down Success As The Community Gathered To "Honor Those Who Serve"
This past Saturday, December 12th, the activity level was high in Eagleville as people completed finishing touches on floats, shined cars and trucks, tacked up their horses, dressed in their warmest clothes and headed to the Parade Staging area at Eagleville School. Other dignitaries in the parade included state senators Bill Ketron and Jim Tracy, county mayor Ernest Burgess, state representative Pat Marsh and school board member Wayne Blair. All found great accommodations in antique vehicles supplied by Ronnie Hill. Lisa Cromwell also found her spot in the Parade. The JROTC from Eagleville School participated in Saturday’s parade with the Color Guard and Drill team marching and leading the way for the float with Veterans riding aboard.

The Eagleville Rutherford County Coop saluted all the Troops who are serving or have served our country. Riding the float this year were employee Lance Corporal Nik Mathiesen and his brother CPL Tim Mathiesen both of who have served in the Middle East. Various floats and entries included former and current military personnel including ...read more...
