Haywood & Walls
Courtney Leigh Walls of Chapel Hill and Joshua Dale Haywood, of Unionville, were united in marriage on March 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., at Rockvale Church of Christ in Rockvale. The Rev. Stan Butt Jr. officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffery Benton Walls and Kimberly Dawn Walls of Chapel Hill. She is the granddaughter of Myrtis and the late Herbert Walls of Chapel Hill, Faye and the late Carson Carroll of Chapel Hill, and Marvin and Beverly Gentry of Shelbyville.
The bridegroom is the son of Steve and DeAnn Haywood of Unionville. He is the grandson of Louella Hyawood of Nashville and Patricia Jones of New Bern NC.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jeffery Benton Walls. She wore a cathedral design gown with wide chantilly lace border and a long train of chantilly lace with fabric roses. She wore a Chapel length veil attach to a tiara. Her flowers were pale green tinted white roses.
Maid of honor was Bonnie Simmons of Eagleville. Bridesmaid was Lisa Gage of Chattanooga. Junior attendant was Rachel Smithbauer of Eagleville. Flower girl was Kaitlyn George Smithville, sister of the bride.
Best man was Andrew Haywood of Unionville, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joey Jones and Lee Jones, uncles of the groom of New Bern NC. Ring bearer was Easton Ferrell, cousin of the groom of Lebanon.
After a honeymoon to Fall Creek Falls, the couple make their home in Unionville.

Evans & Clem
Stephanie Campbell Evans of Knoxville and Jason Michael Clem of Knoxville were united in marriage on October 13, 2007, at the Farragut Church of Christ in Knoxville,TN, with Larry Trotter officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Vickie and Gary Baskette II of Knoxville and Evan Evans of Knoxville. She is the granddaughter of Joyce and Gerald Campbell of Knoxville.
The groom is the son of Patti and Lansden Hill of LaFollette,TN and Stanley Clem of Ft. Walton Beach,FL. He is the grandson of Sarah and Thomas Wicker of New Market, TN.
The bride, given in marriage by her family and her father Evan Evans, wore a Davinci strapless full lace gown with a scalloped edge and a cathedral train. The bride and bridesmaids carried Star of Bethlehem with white satin ribbon.
Julie Travis, best friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Julie White groom’s little sister, Courtney Baskette bride’s step-sister, and Jennifer Wilson groom’s older sister, all from Knoxville, served as Bridesmaids.
Justin Marks groom’s best friend, served as Best Man. Alex Baskette bride’s step-brother and Tate Wilson groom’s brother-in-law, served as Groomsmen. Nicholas Evans bride’s little brother, served as Usher.
The couple took a short honeymoon to Orlando, FL where they attended the museum "Fantasy of Flight" and Universal Studios. They are making their home in Murfreesboro until the groom finishes his professional pilot degree at MTSU and then onto wherever the aviation career will take them!

Taylor & Farrar
Sara Lynne Taylor of Eagleville and Thurston James Taylor Farrar of Shelbyville were married September 15 at Shelbyville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Doyle and the Rev. David Martin officiating.
Nuptial music was provided by Lori Schuler, organist and pianist; Belinda Trott, violinist; Tony Compton, trumpeter; Jon Brock, flutist; and Robert Bigelow, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Peggy and John Taylor of Eagleville. The groom is the son of Betty and Phillip Farrar of Shelbyville.
Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a silk Mikado gown by couture New York designer Tamara Kristen of Marisa. The strapless gown featured an asymmetrical drape design that flowed into a chapel-length train. She wore a cathedral-length veil trimmed in French Alencon lace by Judd Waddell. She carried two dozen, white, long-stemmed roses.
Tara Cochran and Kim Less, both sisters of the bride, served as matrons of honor. Ann Marie Mays, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Erika Fox, Stephanie Horne, Caroline Shanklin, cousin of the bride; and Kerrie Robinson. Serving as flower girls were Taylor Cochran, McKenzie Cochran and Hannah Less, all nieces of the bride, and ClaraAnne Farrar, Macye Farrar and Bertie Farrar, all nieces of the groom. The attendants wore floor-length, chocolate-colored, strapless, satin-faced taffeta gowns with wide ruffle hemlines by Jim Hjelm. The natural waist was accented with an ivory sash. They carried large calla lilies and roses. Three of the flower girls wore Strasburg Children’s sleeveless dresses with an intricately hand-smocked bodice and white satin piping trims on the neckline accompanied with a satin sash. The other three flower girls wore Strasburg Children’s hand-smocked ivory bishop dresses with ecru flowers and seed pearls at the neckline and sleeves. All six flower girls wore pearl bracelets with Swarovski crystals given to them by the bride. They carried baskets of white rose petals.
Phillip Farrar, father of the groom, was his son’s best man. Serving as groomsmen were Tyler Farrar and Zach Farrar, both brothers of the groom, Wyatt Burk, Colt Davis, Jonathan Price and Jim Taylor, brother of the bride. Serving as ushers were Paul Lovvorn, Daniel Moore and Matt Thomas, all friends of the groom. Serving as ring bearers were Jacob Less and Braden Cochran, both nephews of the bride, and Slayton Farrar, nephew of the groom.
Following the ceremony a reception honoring the couple was held at Blue Ribbon Circle in Shelbyville. The event was catered by Chef’s Market.
Nicole Burks, Emily Ramsey, Betty Stacy and Gretchen Thompson kept the bridal register.
After a honeymoon in Sea Island, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. Farrar reside in Franklin.

Wood & Taylor
Allison Ruth Taylor and Christopher Ashton Wood were united in marriage on July 21, 2007 at 3:00 in the afternoon at Christ Family Church in Nolensville, Tennessee with Pastor Julian Goodpastor officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Zachary Douglas Taylor and Toni Green Bishop of update South Carolina. Grandparents are Anabel Stogner Taylor, Evelyn Burrell and Robert and Jean Faid of upstate South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Doyle and Linda Wood of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The grandparents are Mrs. Ashton Wood of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Mr. & Mrs. William Vancleave of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Given in marriage by her father, Zachary Taylor, the bride wore a sequined, fitted, off white, strapless wedding gown. She wore a veil which was a gift given to her by the groom’s parents. Flowers were designed and handmade by the couple’s wedding planner, Brenda Watson.
The bridesmaids were Julie Wood, the groom’s younger sister of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jenny McKinney, the groom’s older sister from Wake Forest, North Carolina and Jennifer Cronkhite, the bride’s good friend, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The flower girl was Madison Wood, the groom’s daughter.
The best man was Doyle Wood of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, the groom’s father. The groomsmen were Martin Taylor, the bride’s brother, from Simpsonville, South Carolina, Austin Taylor, the bride’s brother, from Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Brian McKinney, the groom’s brother-in-law, from Wake Forest, North Carolina.
The ringer bearer was Ashton Wood, the groom’s son.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in a lovely chalet in the mountains. They stayed five days and spent the days and evenings visiting the downtown area.
The couple will make their home on Mt. Vernon Road in Rockvale, Tennessee.

Crowell & Tobiaski
Rebecca Marie Tobiaski and Coby Russell Crowell were united in marriage at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Zion Hill United Methodist Church in Unionville with Reverend Bobby McGee officiating. Mrs. Joyce McGee, pianist, provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Pat Tobiaski of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and the late James Tobiaski. The groom is the son of Fred and Ann Patterson of Unionville and Allen D. Crowell of Winchester.
Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore an ivory, strapless gown with flower appliques enhanced by light beading. A satin sash was tied at the bride’s waist. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory sweetheart roses and raspberry-throated calla lilies.
An outdoor dinner reception followed the ceremony.
Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Illinois, and Coby is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Both are affiliate brokers with Keller Williams Realty in Shelbyville.

Erika Renee Stuard & Gregory Paul Fox
Erika Renee Stuard and Gregory Paul Fox were married March 10, 2007 at 4:00 pm at Parish Patch Farm and Inn in Normandy, Tennessee with Rev. Joe Wiggins and Bro. Jason Arnold officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Reverend Joe and Mrs. Lauren Wiggins of Cowan, Tennessee. Grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Van Hicks of Lake Providence, Louisiana, Ms. Maxine Wiggins of Rayville, Louisiana, and Mr. Huey Wiggins, Sr. of Rayville, Louisiana.
The groom is the son of Mr. Wayne Fox of Bell Buckle, and Mrs. Nancy Fox of Manchester. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl McCullough of Beechgrove.
Maid of honor was, Lynne Taylor, Eagleville high school friend. Bridesmaids were Betty Stacy, high school friend, and Mary Ann Colvin, aunt of the bride from Rayville, Louisiana. Flower girls were Chloe’ Stuard, bride’s daughter, Liza Dennis and Annie Arnold, nieces of the groom.
Wayne Fox, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Matt Keele, high school friend from Wartrace, Bing Sanders, high school friend from Nashville. Ring bearer was Pate Dennis, nephew of the groom.
The couple make their home in Bell Buckle after a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. & Mrs. David Hitchcox
Amy Underwood and David Hitchcox were married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on September 11, 2006.
The bride is the daughter of Edward Underwood and Diane Underwood. The groom is the son of Mark and Kathy Hitchcox of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Cooper & Lamb
Jennifer Lamb and Brian Cooper were united in marriage on April 22, 2006, at Eagleville United Methodist Church in Eagleville, Tennessee.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Ginger Lamb of Eagleville. The bridegroom is the son of Joe and Susan Cooper.
The bride, escorted down the aisle, was given in marriage by her father, Don Lamb.
Maid of honor was Tiffany Jones. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Lamb, Tiffany Lamb Jodi Lamb, Amanda Johnson, Leslie Lamb, Deanna Lamb, and Courtney Marlin. Flower girl was Brenna Truitt.
Best man was Joe Cooper. Groomsmen were Christopher Cooper, Dustin Lamb, Chad Lamb, Jonathan Johnson, Justin Bryant, Brian Lewis and Brad Potts. Ring bearer was Jay Truitt.
After a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are residing in Eagleville.

Bilbrey & Bellenfant-Bellis
Emy Joe Bellenfant-Bellis became the bride of Keith Allen Bilbrey on Sunday, September 4, 2005. The wedding took place at Southview Manor in College Grove. Attendants were their children Stephanie Bellis Warner, Mark and Eric Bilbrey. McKinley Warner, granddaughter of Emy Joe, escorted her "Nana" down the aisle. Emy Joe is the proprietor of Ej's Treasures in College Grove and Keith is an announcer for the Grand Ole Opry/ DJ for WSM - AM Radio in Nashville.

Goad & Bryant
Amy Beth Bryant of Rockvale and Jonathan Dewayne Goad of Murfreesboro were united in marriage on June 4, 2005, at the Crescent Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN, with Darryl Lewis officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Phyllis Bryant of Rockvale. She is the granddaughter of C.J. and Thelma Bryant of Rockvale and Ed and Peggy Barrett of Christiana.
The groom is the son of Billy and Suzanne Goad of Eagleville, and Reed and Lea Mosley of Mt Juliet. He is the grandson of Edna Buchanan of Smyrna and Bill Board of Kingston Springs.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin wedding gown accented with crystal beading. The gown featured off-the-shoulder straps and a semi-dropped waist with an A-line skirt. The skirt cascaded into a chapel length train. She wore an elbow length veil of georgette made by her mother. The bouquet contained white and pink roses accented with green hypericum berries.
The bride’s attendants wore two-piece, light pink, satin A-line dresses that featured a square neckline and a sweep train. They carried bouquets of white and pink roses, pink calla lilies, and purple stock. The flower girl wore a white, handmade, satin, ankle length dress with a pink organza sash.
Rebekak Craig, a friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor, and Ashley Manus, cousin of the bride, served as Bridesmaid. Jessica Letzler, a friend of the couple, served as Flower Girl. Joshua Letzler, a friend of the couple, was the Ring Bearer. Jimmy Craig, a friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Richard Lafferty, a friend of the groom, was the Groomsman. Justin Bryant, brother of the bride, and Clint Manus, cousin of the bride, served as Ushers.
The couple honeymooned in Ormond Beach, Florida, and while there visited historic St Augustine and Daytona Beach. The couple now resides in Murfreesboro, TN.

Patterson & Dial
Nicholas James Patterson and Retika Nicole Dial, both of Murfreesboro, were united in marriage on Saturday, July 23, 2005, in Destin, Florida with Bro. Larry Spears officiating.
Retika is an English teacher at EHS. She is the daughter of Bim & Debby Dial of Lawrenceburg and the granddaughter of Lucille Konig of Summertown; and, Dewey & Dot Dial of Lawrenceburg. Nicholas is an assistant football coach at EHS and a student at MTSU. He is the son of Larry & Alice Patterson of Cleveland, TN and the grandson of Arnetta & Jim Edney and Betty Andrews of Hendersonville, NC.
The beautiful sunset wedding took place on the beach in Destin. Given in marriage by her father, the bride and her father rode their Harley’s down the boardwalk “aisle” as eighty friends and family members shared in the celebration at Beasley Park.
The bride was dressed in a tulle ankle length skirt with beaded bodice. Her bouquet was made from pink, orange & yellow tulips. The bridesmaids wore summer dresses in pink, yellow & orange and carried a bouquet of daisies. The groom wore a khaki linen suit with white button up shirt. The groomsmen wore pink, yellow & orange polo shirts with khaki pants. A miniature bride wore a dress made just like the bride's; ring bearers wore white button up shirt with khaki shorts; the flower girl wore a white dress smocked with pink, yellow & orange designs; all went barefoot.
Maid-of-honor was Ratasha Noel Dial, of Lawrenceburg, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica LeAnn Long, cousin of bride; Kendra Konig Long, cousin of bride. Junior attendants: Miniature bride: Teaghan Elise Moyer, 7 month old cousin of bride; Flower girl: Maddy Oliver, niece of groom; Ring bearer: Coleman Dotson, cousin of bride; and Noah Oliver, nephew of groom; mini bride's escort was Hayden Jones, cousin of bride. Best man was Jerome Martin, of Murfreesboro, friend of groom. Groomsmen were Jason Scharsh and Chad Leeman, friends of groom.
In place of a rehearsal dinner all who made the trip where invited to a luau at the groom's family's rented beach house on July 22. A reception was held in Columbia, TN at Honor's Inn on July 30 for those not able to make the trip to the beach.
The couple resides at their home in Murfreesboro.

Cunningham & Dobbins
Cassie Dobbins and Eric Cunningham were married on May 28, 2005, at the home of Eddie and Elaine Cunningham.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Nolan Barham.
The bride wore a full length white satin gown enhanced with pearls and beads. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.
Ashley Fernandez was maid of honor and Eddie Cunningham served as his son’s best man.
The lawn wedding was enjoyed by family and friends. Afterwards a barbecue was enjoyed by 100 guests.
The couple plans to continue making their home in Eagleville

Halko & Rigsby
Candice Rigsby the daughter of Doug and Donna Rigsby, and Rastislav Halko of Slovakia celebrated their wedding on May 21st in Gloria and Ronnie Hill's garden.

Blair & Patterson
On Saturday, January 1st, 2005, Ernest (E.W.) Hill, Jr. of College Grove, and Debbie Gaskill of Chapel Hill, were united in marriage. The beautiful ceremony took place at the Triune United Methodist Church with the Reverend Pete Ferguson presiding.
Debbie is a 1980 graduate of Marshall County High School and is currently employed at the Marshall County High School in Lewisburg. She also continues her photography business of 13 years. Debbie is the daughter of Sybil Sanders and William E. Sanders of Lewisburg.
E.W. is a 1972 graduate of Eagleville High School and is currently employed by B&W Excavating of Shelbyville. He is the son of Clara Hill and the late Ernest Wortham Hill, Sr. of the Holts Corner/College Grove area.
The theme of the wedding was Winter Wonderland. The bridesmaids were the daughters of the bride. Jessica, Steffi, and Lindsey wore black, cream and gold outfits and carried a rose bouquet accented with gold glitter. The bride wore a winter white 2-piece skirt suit with a silver adornment and a gold glitter shell. She carried a bouquet of cream flowers accented with gold glitter greenery. The groom and groomsmen wore black suits, white shirts and a boutonniere of single rose accented with gold glitter. Groomsmen, Joe Smithson and Jimmy Crafton, friends of the groom, escorted in the bridesmaids while the song “In My Daughter’s Eye” by Martina McBride, was played. Her father then escorted in the bride, during the conclusion of the song. The ceremony included the wedding vows, the blessing and exchanging of rings, lighting of the unity candle, gifts presented to the bride’s daughters by the groom, roses presented to each mother from each the bride and the groom, and the closing prayer.
A reception followed the wedding in the church reception hall. The table was adorned with a white tablecloth bunched together, and a strand of white Christmas lights scattered throughout. White and gold angels accented each end of the table. A white three-layer cake decorated with silver and pearls, was topped with 3 large decorative snowflakes. Punch, nuts and mints were also served to the guests.
E.W. and Debbie will reside in their new home together in Chapel Hill.
