By: Colleen Adams, Booster President Eagleville Football’s 1st Annual Car Show and Cow Patty Bingo was held Saturday, July 28th as a fundraiser for the schools Football Teams and Field House fund. The fun filled day also included a silent auction, lots of good food, and good music by a local DJ. Several owners came to show off their vehicles despite the forecast of rain, with beautifully restored classics to late model cars with the newest technology being represented. For those of you still unfamiliar with this event - participants purchased 10’ x 10’ squares on a grid that was measured out on Talon Field. A local cow was then brought onto the football field, and let go to have "nature take it’s course". Her aim (or lack of?!) won Mark $500.00 as well as bragging rights as the winner of this culteral activity. Mark graciouslly gave back half of his winnings to the Football teams to be put back into the Field House fund. Thanks Mark!! The Coaches and Players of the Eagleville High School Football team and Eagleville Middle School Football team would like to thank all of the businesses and residents who supported the days activities - as well as the parents for their donations and hard work.
