Grove Insurance Now Open
You may have noticed the store front at 8735 Horton Highway in College Grove is sporting a new makeover.
The 1935 building that started life as a grocery store and has served as a radio shop, senior citizens center, bicycle shop and other various businesses along the way is now the home of College Grove Insurance, LLC.
Last year Becky Mason decided to put her 20 plus year’s experience in the insurance business to good use by opening an independent insurance agency. Joining forces with the new agency is Carolyn Adair who has over 40 years experience in the insurance business. Carolyn just happens to be Becky’s mother.
Initially, Becky operated College Grove Insurance out of an office on her home with primary focus on commercial insurance. But after the agency became affiliated with several insurance companies that offered a variety of lines of coverage it became apparent a retail location was in order.
Insurance companies specialize in particular areas of coverage as well as not wanting some types of business. One company may specialize in high price homes where other companies may only want business insurance.
College Grove Insurance has companies that offer all types of insurance, personal coverage that includes homeowners, personal auto, life and health, and business coverage that includes General liability, workers compensation, business auto as well as bonds.
Becky is quoted as saying "I have the advantage of being able to shop customers insurance with several companies to obtain the best price for the coverage. I take the time to make sure every customer understands their current coverage and any options available to compliment the coverage."
Many customers find insurance confusing. The policy at College Grove Insurance is to first give a new customer a quote that is the same as their exiting coverage, so that a price comparison can be made. After quoting the coverage a customer’s situation is reviewed to make sure that their insurance needs are being met.
